A day of collective engagement: workshops, activities and encounters centred on the library as a vibrant space – as part of Cultural Education Week in Pankow.

In partnership with the Sources d’Espoir e.V. association, the Zuwara project creates a space for children and young people where gamification, culture and collaborative learning come together. There will be games, cooking, shared meals and dancing.

Pankow Municipal Library, in partnership with the Goethe-Institut Lima, as well as other libraries and initiatives from Africa and Latin America, is organising a hybrid discussion series. The focus is on innovative and resilient library practices that open up prospects for a sustainable future and strengthen international exchange between libraries, communities and cultural actors.

INTIKUREN is curating a vibrant exhibition based on the International Library of Things. The objects are presented and made available in unusual ways. All visitors are invited to try them out, play with them or learn more about their stories, meanings and possible uses.

To round off the event, music, socialising and discussion will provide a fitting conclusion.
