City Walk as Part of the Long Week of Neighborhood History - Street History(ies)
The city walk with Stefan Zollhauser embarks on a military-critical search for traces and asks what these traces reveal about the culture of remembrance. The focus is not only on the monuments of the victors, but also on the less visible stories: the daily lives of forced laborers and the civilian population, the experiences of soldiers beyond the hero myth, and the commitment of pacifist activists who refused to participate in the war or opposed it. Forms of remembrance and the repression of military presence are also addressed during the walk.
- The event is part of the Long Week of Neighborhood History under the motto "Street History(ies)."
