The interactive radio play »Beton. Wüste. Zukunft.« invites us to trace our own cognitive dissonance between real climate crisis and fatalistic displacement.

The Floating, the disused rain catchment basin of Tempelhof Airport, offers a spectacular scenario for this: between concrete and wasteland, between mobility infrastructure and art venue, the audience can put their knowledge of the climate crisis, their feelings about it and their own actions in relation to each other. With dripping sounds, diving meditation and thought experiments, big questions are asked and small steps towards utopia are dared.
