The production #BerlinBerlin, which was awarded the Friedrich Luft Prize 2018, will be shown in a cooperation: First take part in an art tour at the East Side Gallery and then attend a performance of #BerlinBerlin!
#BerlinBerlin at 19:30 STRAHL. Hall OstkreuzA child is born, a father runs away. The family builds a wall that divides Germany in two. #BerlinBerlinBerlin tells the story of Ingo and his family with energy, humour and rock music from two Germany and three decades.
On 9.11.1989 the wall falls and is dismantled in many places in the city. Only on Mühlenstraße is things different: artists* from 21 countries paint the remains of the Wall and create the world's longest open-air gallery. The tour tells the story of the historic site with the help of a few works of art.
And there is also an anniversary: The Wall was built on 13 August 1961 - and our protagonist Ingo was born...
