A participatory installation by Plastique Fantastique
The artist duo Plastique Fantastique transfers the diversity of Berlin's relationship culture to the square in front of Wedding Town Hall: In the walk-in, inflatable sound sculpture DOUBLE HEART, strangers, friends and lovers meet and share a heartbeat and pulse, while a monumental golden ring (RINGdeLUXE) encircles the façade of the former Town Hall.

Visitors are fast-tracked from first crushes to pop-up weddings and express divorces.
DJs and live acts accompany the transformation from single to couple (and back); guests, passers-by and neighbours are invited to a wedding disco and divorce dance.
At night, the windows of the façade of the former BVV hall become a cinema and open up worlds of images for shared mourning, grieving and dreaming.
