Davide Burani takes his audience on a journey into the world of 19th-century opera. Operatic sounds on this unique instrument – what does that even sound like?

One thing is certain: you will experience wonderful music, so multifaceted and rich in detail, as is hardly possible on any other solo instrument. You can see for yourself on November 14th at the Epiphany Church, when the renowned harpist Davide Burani will perform a benefit concert, making the many strings of the harp sing and interpreting music from operas by Offenbach, Bellini, Puccini, and Verdi, transporting his audience to the world of 19th-century opera.

Davide Burani is an institution in the harp world.

He has played as principal harpist in many European orchestras. He is currently engaged at the Philharmonic in Modena. In addition to his regular concert appearances in many concert halls across Europe, he holds a professorship in harp at the State Conservatoire in Reggio Emilia and in Castelnovo na Monti. He regularly gives masterclasses here in Berlin.

Donations for the organ repair are welcome.
