Ask Me About: Media Narratives

With Ask Me About, they place a thematic focus on media narratives: on the questions of how social reality is told, who shapes these narratives, and which perspectives become visible—or remain invisible—within them.

Through a spatial-social intervention, the interstitial spaces at HKW become decentralized forums for conversation: foyers and passageways throughout the building are transformed into cozy settings. In several small groups, participants engage in conversation with individuals who possess situated, experience-based knowledge and assume temporary speaking roles—including journalists, artists, community organizers, and actors with institutional responsibility. This creates spaces for informal exchange where participants can speak openly and authentically and share personal experiences.

Due to a sporting event, there will be road closures around the HKW from June 1 to 5, 2026. The venue is accessible by public transportation—S-Bahn (Hauptbahnhof) and U-Bahn (Bundestag)—as well as by bicycle or on foot.
