Anti-Semitism in the envelope. The "Jewish question" in German private correspondence of the Nazi era

A small proportion of the letters in his archive deal with the situation of the Jewish population. Descriptions of the Holocaust can also be found, albeit rarely, in soldiers' letters home. Brief remarks, casually mentioned observations, almost harmless-sounding statements about "the Jews" reveal how seemingly normal anti-Semitism was at the time.
