"Half a Whole Life" - Life as a woman, a lover, a mother – joy and sorrow alike speak through the songs of Andrea Timm. The music evokes the best of classic songwriting traditions, somewhere between blues and pop, without ever feeling dated. New songs alongside revisited older pieces create a programme that can shift and breathe without the band having to reinvent itself. The musicians also enjoy drawing on current events and their own musical past in East German rock – something that brings joy both on and off the stage, and always opens up new possibilities.
