What does Amazonia have to do with us? We rarely ask ourselves this question in our everyday lives, but it is an important and, above all, very exciting question. Because the answers affect our lives here in Europe. And not just tomorrow, but already today, where our lives are significantly shaped and influenced by this region.
Perhaps you have already heard about various projects that are concerned with the protection of the Amazon, the incredible nature there and the indigenous peoples of Amazonia. The Aktionsgemeinschaft Solidarische Welt (ASW) has created a banner exhibition for this purpose, which aims to raise awareness of how important the Amazon rainforest is for the global climate. Because one thing is obvious, if we still want to save the Amazon rainforest, we have to act now.
From March 18 to April 5, 2023, the exhibition is open to the public from Mon-Fri from 10am-5pm at Dorothee-Sölle-Haus, Waldsassener Str. 9, 12279 Berlin.
If you would like to come with a larger group, please contact in advance: Kontakt@marienfelde-evangelisch.de (Pastor Paul Klaß).
