Annual deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon is now at its highest level in 15 years. Forest fires and pollution from oil, gold or bauxite are also daily problems that people in the Amazon region have to contend with. Indigenous peoples whose habitat is being destroyed are fighting back with all their might, but resistance is difficult when even your own president is working against it.

Why is all this happening, how are indigenous people doing and why are we responsible for something that is happening thousands of miles away?

The open-air exhibition answers these questions.
