Born in Waren an der Müritz and raised in the Mecklenburg Lake District, Martin Goldenbaum discovered his love for music at an early age.

"Alles bunt" Martin Goldenbaum
Influenced by the rock ’n’ roll of the ’50s and ’60s as well as punk rock, he founded his first band, Bigos, at age 16 and toured Germany. Today, he is one of the most distinctive voices in the German-speaking pop and rock scene—a multiple award winner with numerous TV and radio appearances, as well as a songwriter for hit series such as Pokémon and Miraculous.
Goldenbaum combines a raw voice, punk attitude, and poetic sensibility to create songs that entertain, move, and inspire.
