On 29 November 2025, the Albert Schweitzer Foundation – Housing & Care in Berlin-Blankenburg will be holding its traditional Advent bazaar from 3 to 6 p.m.

With the motto 'Together instead of side by side', this event celebrates the 150^(th) anniversary of Albert Schweitzer's birth and reflects his values of compassion, solidarity, and community action.
The bazaar offers people with and without disabilities, neighbours and visitors the opportunity to experience the pre-Christmas season together.
There will be a varied stage programme featuring the inclusive foundation choir 'InTakt', the brass ensemble 'Hauptstadtblech' and the Blankenburg choir 'PankePerlen', providing musical diversity.
Visitors can enjoy handcrafted products from the day centres, creative hands-on activities, a children's carousel, a railway and a petting zoo. Culinary offerings and a fire show at the end of the event will create a wonderful atmosphere.
Admission is free.
