a self-functioning theatre performance by young people with ADHD

The urgency to discuss the inclusion and visibility of neurodiverse people is greater than ever, especially at a time when narratives that defame science are once again gaining institutional traction (for example, the autism debate in the US).

Equally important is the question of how neurodiverse perspectives are represented in art and culture. Five young people explore this topic, weaving together their own stories with deep-seated prejudices and a bit of neurochemistry.

What is it really like to live as a neurodiverse person? What do we want from a world where our brains function differently than those of most people? And what does all this have to do with an axolotl?
