ЯE:IMAGINE: THE RED HOUSE – INVENTORIES/INTERVENTIONS/INVENTIONS
The 7th Berlin Autumn Salon is entitled ЯE:IMAGINE: THE RED HOUSE – INVENTORIES/INTERVENTIONS/INVENTIONS. To mark the opening of her final season as artistic director of the Gorki in 2025/26, Shermin Langhoff has invited long-standing colleagues and many other artists to reflect on, reclassify and (re)imagine the critical art practices, struggles and resistance that were negotiated during this period in the face of the present, to reclassify them and to (re)imagine them for the future.

Maxim Gorki Theater
This is the last Autumn Salon by Shermin Langhoff at the Maxim Gorki Theater, who launched the biennial format in 2013 and is also curating this year's edition.
The Autumn Salon exhibition shows more than 100 works by around 60 artists throughout the Gorki, in the Palais am Festungsgraben, the Gorki Kiosk and in the outdoor space.
The world premiere of Ersan Mondtag's theatre production DAS ROTE HAUS (The Red House) on the Gorki stage and the premiere of TO BE IN A TIME OF WAR by Etel Adnan, directed by Murat Dikenci in Studio Я, are also contributions to the Herbstsalon. Seven more premieres are planned as part of the Berlin Herbstsalon.
