"The Swan Woman - I Am a Princess" - The theme of the 36th Berlin Fairy Tale Days is stories and fairy tales about obstacles and true strength. It's about miracles, curses, and people who seem imperfect and are especially lovable for that very reason.

The fairy Ariola flies across the country and has made many friends.
Some have accompanied her for a while. Others stay by her side their entire lives. Sometimes there's someone you take deep into your heart. When that friend doesn't contact you, you start to worry. So Ariola flies off and asks everywhere where her friend, the Swan Woman, might be. Along the way, she learns other stories and writes them down.

Will Ariola find the Swan Woman?

Various fairy tales for adults presented by Inés Bartel, Bettina Pfründer, Martina Sieder, and Claudi Feldhaus. Musical accompaniment by Sonny Thet/cello.
