11mm 2026 puts football feature films in the spotlight

The 11mm International Football Film Festival celebrates its 21st edition and invites film and football fans to Berlin from March 26 to 30, 2026, for a diverse program.

The festival showcases feature films, documentaries, and short films all centered around football. The most outstanding productions will be recognized with several awards: the 11MM Jury Prize for "Football Film of the Year," the "Golden 11" Audience Award for the festival's most popular film, and the 11MM shortkicks Award for "Best Football Short Film of the Year."

Filmmakers and production companies from around the world are invited to submit their football films.

All submitted films must be in German or English, or subtitled accordingly in German or English.

About 11mm

11mm was founded in Berlin in 2004 by Brot & Spiele e.V. as the world's first football film festival. After guest appearances abroad, a European Championship tour through 24 cities in Germany and its 20th anniversary last year, the film festival is now once again presenting current highlights and works from the history of football films in Berlin.
