But there is plenty to discover in Berlin's westernmost district at any time of year: whether it's the Renaissance fortress Zitadelle Berlin with its various historical exhibitions, or Spandau's old town with the Kolk and remains of the 14th-century city wall, whether it's UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the large housing estate Siemensstadt or, hidden in the countryside, the old Fort Hahneberg, now a filming location for Hollywood movies.
