The days will soon be getting brighter again – something to look forward to. Then it will be time to get outside, enjoy the sun and soak up plenty of vitamin D: we have some tips for spring in Berlin. Why not visit the most adorable residents of Berlin Zoo: the panda twins. Or do you have another favourite animal? Then book a ticket to visit your favourite animal. These are exclusive appointments, just for you. Currently, you can choose from the hippopotamus, the shark, the sloth, the aardvark and a few more. And of course, all the other animals are looking forward to your visit too.

Tip 2: Discover even more Berlin animals

For the little ones: In addition to Berlin Zoo and Tierpark, there are lots of other animals in Berlin looking forward to your visit. Like the sheep grazing between solar fields or on Tempelhofer Feld. Or the many rabbits and guinea pigs waiting for you in petting zoos and on children's farms. They are worth a trip for the whole family.

Tip 3: Enjoy the spring flowers in the Botanical Garden

As soon as the ice and snow have melted, the spring flowers in the Botanical Garden awaken in all their glory. Here you can stroll through the spacious grounds and marvel at plants from all over the world with their first delicate buds. If it's still uncomfortable outside, just visit the greenhouses – you're guaranteed to get that spring feeling.

Tip 5: Visit Berlin's beautiful castle landscape

Why not combine a day out with a visit to a palace? Visit the imposing Charlottenburg Palace with its extensive grounds. A particular gem is Glienicke Palace, an Italian-style villa directly on the River Havel.

In Potsdam, you can spend the whole day in the huge park with its palaces and viewpoints. Last but not least, the Oranienburg Palace Museum, Caputh Palace and Rheinsberg Palace in Brandenburg are also beautiful destinations for a day trip.

One of the most attractive recreational areas is certainly the Britzer Garten with its wide paths, tulip exhibition in spring and numerous playgrounds. Also worth seeing are the Gardens of the World in Marzahn with extraordinary garden art from Asia and Europe.
