Celebrate at spring and Easter festivals
- From 28 March to 3 May 2026 , visit the 54th Spring Festival on Kurt-Schumacher-Damm. This fairground with over 60 rides, including a ghost train and various roller coasters, is great fun for the whole family.
- From 27 March to 19 April 2026, the Britzer Baumblüte (Britz Tree Blossom Festival) will delight you at the Gutspark Britz. In addition to many delicacies and rides, there will once again be a non-stop stage programme and Easter specials: just drop by!
- The Berlin Citadel in Spandau invites you to its annual Easter Knight Festival from 4 to 6 April 2026. Here, everything a knight's heart desires is on offer, from knight fights and fire shows to fairy tale tellers.
- At the same time, theEaster Spectaculum will once again take place at Storkow Castle ( ).
The Easter markets invite you to visit
- In the week before Easter, the season kicks off at Späth's tree nursery with lots of spring flowers, Easter herbs and the opening of the beer garden.
- The Easter Market at Mexikoplatz with arts and crafts opens its doors on 29 March 2026 .
- From Easter Saturday to Easter Monday, you can sample delicacies and admire handicrafts at the Easter market in Chorin Monastery .
Easter programmes for children and families
Berlin always has something to offer families and children, and this weekend is no exception, with numerous events taking place across the capital – here is just a small selection.

- Easter holidays at the Gripstheater
- Easter egg painting in the Sorbian tradition from 28 March to 4 April 2026 at the Spät'sche Baumschule.
- The Three Investigators and the Singing Snake at the Zeiss Großplanetarium on 30 March 2026
- Good Friday traditionally marks the start of the season at the Wannsee lido, free of charge for all brave souls.
- You can attend the Sorbian Easter Eggs 2026 workshop from 20 to 22 March in the printmaking studio.
- On 1 and 2 April, the Museum of European Cultures is offering a two-day workshop on Easter basket weaving. Please register online.
- Easter games in Britzer Garten on Easter Sunday from 11 a.m.
- Grand season opening on Easter Sunday at the Hoppegarten racecourse.
- Egg painting and Easter crafts at the Ökowerk Nature Conservation Centre
- The Düppel Museum Village invites you to enjoy a varied programme during the Easter holidays and offers special hands-on activities over the long Easter weekend.
- The German Historical Museum invites you to special children's tours at Easter.
- Easter tours and an exciting holiday programme at Berlin Zoo and Berlin Animal Park.
- Every year during the holiday season, the FEZ (Freizeit- und Erholungszentrum Wuhlheide) offers a colourful Easter programme for children. The motto for 2026 is not yet known.
- The Gardens of the World and Britzer Garten are offering a colourful programme for the Easter weekend.
- Cherry Blossom Festival in the Gardens of the World – Sakura from 11 to 12 April 2026
- Beauty and the Beast – the musical – the family musical at the Admiralspalast from 4 to 5 April 2026

Shows, musicals and festivals
- BLINDED by DELIGHT is back again this year with over 100 artists from 28 nations on the world's biggest stage, beautiful enough to fall in love with. The show at the Friedrichstadt-Palast will captivate you with its ravishing beauty. Plunge into a surging sea of colours and emotions and experience the sparkling Grand Show.
- From 14 March, the fantastic journey into the invisible continues with Cirque Du Soleil ALIZÉ. Let yourself be enchanted by amazing circus art combined with the wonders of "Magie Nouvelle".
- Until the end of March, Stars in Concert presents an incredible range of music genres and artists at the , from pop idols such as Madonna and Michael Jackson to rock legends such as Elvis Presley and Queen. With a breathtaking light show, a live band and talented vocal performers, this show is an unforgettable experience for all music fans.
- Experience a rousing, atmospheric and surprisingly humorous performance with Bello! at the Chamäleon Berlin.
- In the week before Easter, the Theater des Westens presents the new musical by Peter Plate and Ulf Leo Sommer: Wir sind am Leben – Das Berlin Musical (We Are Alive – The Berlin Musical) – a story about family, freedom and the spirit of the early 90s.
- The CHER SHOW celebrates the pop icon's 60th stage anniversary at the Stage Bluemax Theater from 20 March to 24 April 2026.
- The French Cathedral offers a sweeping view of the city with a glass of Crémant in your hand.
Boating season
The Lüdicke shipping company kicks off the season at Easter with a steamboat parade, a 2.5-hour boat tour in a convoy of all four ships on the Lower Havel from Spandau via Gatow and Kladow to Wannsee and back.
Or hop on one of the many excursion steamers and boats and discover Berlin from a whole new perspective, for example on a one-hour boat tour on the Spree.
Concerts and exhibitions during Easter
- The Berlin State Opera's festive season from 28 March to 6 April 2026 is the cultural highlight for all opera lovers. This year, we can once again look forward to many wonderful days full of excitement. The main focus is on Richard Wagner.
- The Good Friday concert takes place every year at the Berlin Philharmonic.
- You can enjoy music by Richard Strauss and texts by Hugo von Hofmannsthal at the Staatsoper unter den Linden with Der Rosenkavalier from 28 March to 5 April 2026.
- The Komische Oper Berlin (currently located in the Schillertheater) will be showing Belshazzar from 28 March to 8 May.
- Odeal will thrill you with a mix of Afro genres, pop and R&B on his "The Shows that saved us Tour" on 2 April.
- On 3 April, cathedral organist Sieling will perform beautiful organ works by J.S. Bach on the large Sauer organ in Berlin Cathedral.
- At the Tipi am Kanzleramt, Klangwerk 306 – a choir with 47 singers – will tell the incredible story of Britney Spears on 4 and 5 April 2026.
