Reading and discussion
This release event is all about the voices of student authors in Berlin! The literary anthology ‘und das raverpaar tanzt zum s-bahnorchester’ (and the raver couple dances to the S-Bahn orchestra), published by the Studierendenwerk Berlin, brings together texts from the period 2023-2025. A dozen of the more than 35 authors featured in the anthology will give insights into their writing during the evening.

Lesung und Gespräch
The texts come from the intercultural writing group ‘TextTransit’, which takes place each semester under changing leadership. Impressions from many other literary workshops organised by the student cultural association and the reading platform ‘Lies los!’ will also be heard. And, of course, authors from the student city writer programme ‘Berlin Stories’ will also read.
The topics range from the spiciest currywurst to the inner beauty of roses, the coriander gene, tenderness and coldness that go hand in hand in the big city. The diverse voices and original observations provide an insight into what is currently moving Berlin students.
The event will be moderated by Theresa Brehm and Lucie Frahm from the Kulturwerk of the Studierendenwerk Berlin.
