Fabian Hub

In his solo exhibition, Adventures on the Mind Scrap Tissue, Fabian Hub explores the tension between urban structure and mental topography.

A triptych that intertwines painting and collage serves as the starting point, creating a visual world reminiscent of cartography.

Layers of found papers, colour fields and overlays conjure up surfaces reminiscent of weathered façades or urban landscapes bearing the marks of time. The viewer's perspective shifts between a bird's-eye view and a close-up, between a plan and lived space.

In the series 'Mind Scrap Journey' and installations such as 'Grid Disrupter–Interference Engine', Hub extends this approach to sound and object art. His works address resonance, permeability and the fragile order of the urban environment.

The exhibition thus transitions from the cartographic recording of the city to the psychological spaces of its inhabitants, offering an aesthetic exploration of the boundaries between structure and experience.
