On display is a large selection of works submitted by young artists, ranging from analogue photography to collage, film, graffiti, painting, sculpture and drawing.

The prize has been awarded by the MiK Youth Art School with the support of the Mitte School Authority for over 20 years and is being held this year for the first time in three age groups (12–14 / 15–17 / 18–22 years).
With the Youth Art Prize, the MiK Youth Art School aims to promote young talent from different social backgrounds in their artistic development and give them a stage to express their ideas, feelings and perspectives. Through public visibility, we not only honour the works of art, but also the young artists themselves – and encourage them to continue on their artistic path. At the same time, the prize is seen as an investment in the cultural future of our society.
