A guided tour through the "main street" of Oberschöneweide

Would you like to learn more about the history of Wilhelminenhofstraße, the buildings, and the people who lived there? That’s why the team at the Industriesalon Schöneweide has put together an entertaining guided tour of Oberschöneweide’s “main street,” featuring interesting facts, quirky stories, and little-known tales.

During the tour, the guides share interesting, quirky, and unbelievable stories about the houses on Wilhelminenhofstraße and their residents spanning over 100 years.

Stops include the villa of real estate tycoon Lehmann from 1894, Königsplatz, the old brewery in the backyard, the former movie theater, the old Quappenkrug, and the legendary pub “Stumpfe Ecke,” where KWO employees once drank their after-work beer at six in the morning.

This tour is the ideal complement to the standard “Elektropolis” tour.
