Yann Pierre Tiersen, French composer and multi-instrumentalist, is best known for his film scores for "The Fabulous World of Amélie" and "Good Bye, Lenin!". Here, the dreamy, melancholy piano playing was particularly striking. In his own new songs, the sound goes more in the direction of electronics. Thus he reinvents himself and sets musical trends again.
