Works for saxophone ensemble by Ciesla, Hartley, Kogler, Moondog, Schubert and others.

The Berlin saxophonist and composer Wolfgang Kogler and his then saxophone students founded this special kind of ensemble at the Berlin-Zehlendorf Music School 3 decades ago. From the founding years, musicians are still with them or sometimes rejoin them.

The saxophone ensemble performs regularly in churches, at vernissages and at festivals all over Germany. xsb" has also been invited to perform in the Netherlands and Lithuania. Furthermore, there have been performances in the Chamber Music Hall of the Berlin Philharmonic, in the Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt, in Berlin and Brandenburg universities and in the Sony Center.

For the farewell of the Steglitz "skyscraper" Kreisel, the director Wolfgang Kogler and the ensemble were commissioned to arrange the farewell music. The ensemble works project-related again and again with guests and realized among other things programs with light design, films, texts as well as other instrumental groups, singers, rappers and dancers.

The new program includes original works for saxophone ensemble and an arrangement of the "Unfinished" by Franz Schubert.
