From November 16th, 2023, visitors to the outdoor area of DARK MATTER can immerse themselves in a special kind of forest after dark: a sky made of evergreen trees decorated with more than 80,000 lights, accompanied by atmospheric music, conjures up a symphony of moving light and color in the winter night.

This winter you can once again experience artist Christopher Bauder's impressive light and sound installation at DARK MATTER. From November 16, 2023 to January 7, 2024, you have the opportunity to enjoy the festive beauty.
An inverted winter wonderland awaits you in a forest with 200 floating trees. The sky above the trees is decorated with over 80,000 lights and is accompanied by atmospheric music. This combination conjures up a moving symphony of light and color in the winter night.
WINTERLIGHTS offers an immersive audiovisual experience that repeats every half hour and can be enjoyed throughout the evening.
