Wild bee excursions

Under the motto "Where the wild bees live", the Aurelia Foundation invites all interested parties to go on the popular wild bee discovery tours in Berlin with their experts.

Wild bee excursions

This year, ten wild bee walks will be offered over the summer from May to August. Project manager Christian Lichtenau leads the groups with wild bee expert Frederik Rothe to areas in Berlin that are rich in species and flowers.

The aim of the entertaining and informative events is to present the native wild bee species in their habitat up close to the participants and to talk to them about the ecology and protection needs of wild bees.

The excursions take place during the week (Wednesday and Friday) from 3.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. or on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

  • Saturday, May 20th – Botanical Garden Berlin
