Family tour

Together, participants search for traces of the Berlin Wall, both large and small, along Bernauer Straße. They discover why a memorial stands at this particular location and what its purpose is.

In doing so, they ask important questions: Why was a wall built in the first place? How did it change people's lives? And how did families experience the division? They also discuss who actually brought the wall down.

Wall remnants, photographs, and eyewitness accounts help in the search for answers. Everyone reflects on their own family memories and considers the significance of the Berlin Wall today.

For families with children between 8 and 12 years old.
