About the differences and similarities between city and country people

Urban life is associated with confinement, hectic pace, anonymity and stress. Existence in the country seems to be the opposite: idyll, community and peace, but also long journeys and hard work. Our environment shapes our mental health, as well as our values, our mentality and everyday reality. In the “Your Emotional City” project, we examine the influence of the city on our emotions.

Do the attitudes and views of people in the city and in the country really differ so much and simply don't fit together? Are these just differences or are they already rifts, as one might assume with regard to socio-political issues and voting behavior? But do people in cities and rural areas really tick so differently? How divided is this society - and how can everyone overcome the division?

YOUR EMOTIONAL CITY

In the “Your Emotional City” project, we want to find out with you how citizens feel, decipher the feelings in specific streets, squares, neighborhoods and parks and gain insights for cities in general. Together we will find out what will make cities of the future places worth living in.
