Exhibition and collection curator Ines Hahn in conversation with photo artist Frank Silberbach.

Frank Silberbach began his career as a photo reporter in the GDR. After emigrating to West Berlin, he worked for various journals and magazines. Photo trips took him through Europe, to Africa, America and Asia. For his series "Berlin 140°" Silberbach was on the streets of Berlin for eleven years. In it, he describes the special atmosphere of everyday life in Berlin in a humorous and poetic manner. In this guided tour you can find out what motivated him and how he proceeded.

Ines Hahn, curator of the exhibition "Berlin Contrasts (2004-2015) - Photographs by Frank Silberbach and Nikolas von Safft" and the Photographic Collection of the Stadtmuseum Berlin, will lead the tour together with Frank Silberbach.
