From vision to rollout | Your meeting place for the key technology of the energy and mobility transition: Vehicle-to-grid More flexibility in the power grid and a stable supply of renewable energies? Yes, please!
The combination, or rather the perfect communication between the electricity or household grid and electric vehicles could be the game changer in the transformation of the energy system. Bidirectional charging, specifically vehicle-to-grid (V2G), could ensure a stable and flexible supply in the short term with an increasing share of renewable energies in the grid.
However, questions remain unanswered: What technical and regulatory hurdles are there, how can they be solved, by whom and when? Which business models are worthwhile and where does the regulatory framework need to be tightened up?
The Vehicle to Grid Summit on 28 January 2025 in Berlin will bring together experts from grid infrastructure, utilities and providers to discuss these issues in a practical and open manner and to take a look at specific business models. As part of the Future Power Grids conference, this will create a focal point for one of the most exciting fields of application in the area of renewable energy.
