To show that quality pizza with authentic and healthy ingredients is always worth a visit to a restaurant, around 30 of Berlin's best pizzerias are joining forces for the eighth edition of True Italian Pizza Week Berlin.
For one week, each of these pizzerias will offer a gourmet pizza, a choice of two options, together with an Aperol Spritz or a non-alcoholic Crodino Spritz for just €16.
Selected examples of the pizzas of True Italian Pizza Week 2024 are:
Pumpkin cream, mozzarella and truffle salsiccia; tomato, fiordilatte, 'Nduja, caramelized onions and burrata; sweet potato cream, spicy salsiccia, provola, roasted fennel and fresh parsley; Tomato, garlic, parsley, zucchini and black pork pancetta; artichoke cream, caciocavallo cheese, dried tomatoes, lemon zest and rosemary ricotta.
In 2023, around 9,000 menus were sold - a great success for enjoying authentically made pizza. A high quality pizza means a dough resting time of at least 24 hours, good hydration and ingredients of the highest quality.
The result? An easily digestible pizza that doesn't make you thirsty at night and that makes you feel like you can eat another one the next day.
How does the event work?
True Italian Pizza Week 2024 will take place from October 10th to 16th in the selected pizzerias. In each restaurant there will be a pizza - there are two variants to choose from - and an Aperol Spritz or a non-alcoholic Crodino Spritz for €16.
Participation is possible without a ticket: just go to one of the participating pizzerias and request the event menu. To discover all the participating pizzerias and the specialty pizzas on offer, there will be a map in print and online.

The True Italian Pizza Week competition also offers the chance to win a fantastic three-night stay for two people in the beautiful Villa Bautier in the heart of Puglia.
Participating is very simple:
You have to be creative and take a photo or a short reel video of a pizza or someone eating it in one of the participating restaurants. Post the photo or video with the hashtag #trueitalianpizzaweek, tag the account @trueitalianfood and link the restaurant. More information will be available soon on True Italian's social media channels.
