Where the German Museum of Technology and the park at Gleisdreieck are located today was once the Anhalter Bahnhof. Today, however, only a few relics remind us of its importance and hustle and bustle. On the basis of around six years of research work by the bzi, its development can now be traced digitally and makes it understandable why Egon Erwin Kisch once described the area as a "sea of rails".
