Four-member Melbourne band Teenage Dads steadfastly refuse to stay within the confines of the Australian indie sector. Instead, they develop melodies and rhythms that fuse different worlds: elements of New York indie of the early 2000s, classic new wave of the 80s and clear synth-pop mix with the energy of contemporary influences such as Two Door Cinema Club or Phoenix. This sound and style has earned them a loyal fan base in Australia, North America, England and Europe.
Her most recent singles "I Like It" and "Tale Of A Man" can be found on both international, curated playlists and private playlists. Back in 2017, they achieved respectable success with their first EP "Wett Weather" by presenting a fresh look at indie pop and cleverly incorporating traditional elements. Since then, Teenage Dads have continued to improve in all areas, be it songwriting, the intricacy of the production or of course the number of their fans.
Teenage Dads' live performances have an epic reputation, and you can also experience one of them in Berlin in June.
