In “71BODIES 1DANCE”, Daniel Mariblanca dances the stories of 71 trans people from across Europe. The solo performance shows how personal change can be full of strength and diversity.

“71BODIES 1DANCE” is a solo performance inspired by 71 transgender people from all over Europe interviewed by choreographer and dancer Daniel Mariblanca. At the same time, it is the first work of the company 71BODIES, founded by Mariblanca in 2018.
In this work, he radically stresses the great diversity within the transgender spectrum and highlights in an intimate, tender way the great diversity that is inherent in every personal transformation. In doing so, he strives to broaden people’s perspectives, awaken curiosity and tell of the beauty and strength of those who live on the margins of society.
