This year, for the first time, two artists, Yuri Albert and Vadim Zakharov, will be awarded the Goslar Kaiserring. The two Russian artists have always stood up for humanity, freedom and the dialogue between East and West under the changing systems. Dorothea Zwirner has followed the artists' careers since the early 1990s, when they moved to Cologne in the course of perestroika, and will lead through the artist talk.
