Olomouc's Prince-Bishop Karl von Liechtenstein-Castelcorn was no child of sadness, certainly not at carnival time. He liked to have his star violinist Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber and the court orchestra play highly virtuosic but also humorous music for him.
A selection of this music will be performed by the Spanish violinist Lina Tur Bonet.
