The apocalypse has not caught everyone at the same time, MAN and WOMAN are still sitting in their home and live their best life. They fill the cracks that appear in the house facade with everyday routines, anecdotes, dance interludes and a positive attitude.
Do they realize that in the process they are revealing their fears and obsessions and peeling away their bourgeois shell layer by layer? The personal narratives of the performers sneak in between the routines.
Jil Dreyer and Josef Mehling are quite different from MAN and WOMAN – at least repeatedly. They look at their own biographies, which rules make whom normal and how they themselves pull along the boundaries of normality.
A post-apocalyptic sitcom about the social middle and the brutality of the normal.
