She uses essential oils for fragrance, and the color mixtures are specifically designed for soap making. Participants can choose to mix in small flowers or additives such as poppy seeds, coconut, coffee, or similar ingredients, or leave the soap completely natural.
Each creative participant gets to choose two soap molds, sniff through the oils, and select the inserts, color, and soap base. Then the first soap is poured, followed by the second. After that, everyone needs to be patient while the soaps cool.
Brit Betke will then lovingly wrap the soaps, ready to give as gifts.
