Family theater about the table (un)manners at the elector from 5 years old
At the invitation of the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin Brandenburg (SPSG), the Galli Theater Berlin has recorded the family play "Vom Schmatzen, Schlürfen und Knochenwerfen" (Of smacking, slurping and throwing bones) as a video in the Grunewald hunting lodge and makes it available in a stream for the whole family.
With family-friendly charm, the theater people from Galli Theater Berlin ask the question of what it might have been like back then when the Elector returned from the hunt with his entourage. How did the rulers dine? What table (un)manners were there? Paul comes home from school. He is supposed to write an essay on the topic: "Life at Grunewald Hunting Lodge". This seems rather boring to him, but his sister has a good idea: "You have to play history".
Hooray, there is joy! The mother brings props and everyone transforms into historical figures. With lots of fun, dance and funny ideas, you play through a daily routine in the hunting lodge, experience a carriage ride and end with a feast at a spontaneously improvised table. You can eat, slurp and throw bones. A story to act out with specially composed music by Michael Summ and Johannes Galli.
Performers: Rebekka Corcodel, Harald Diesner, Sina Haarmann and Thomas Matuszewski
