SANAM is a six-piece ensemble from Beirut that blends experimental rock with traditional Egyptian music and contemporary Arabic poetry. Their sound moves between psych, krautrock, jazz, electronics, and improvisation—layered, atmospheric, and genre-defying. The band was formed in 2021 following a joint performance at the Irtijal Festival and features members of renowned Lebanese acts such as Kinematik, Postcards, and Al Rahel al Kabir.Their debut album Aykathani Malakon (2023, Mais Um Discos) was recorded live and received acclaim from outlets like The Guardian, The Wire, and BBC Radio 6. SANAM has performed at international festivals including Le Guess Who?, Roskilde, and Suoni Per Il Popolo. In September 2025, they released their second album Sametou Sawtan on the Canadian label Constellation Records.

gleo; [glō] n.
The sound of the sea when loud and ominous, akin to loud human or machine noise, foretells bad weather.Ambient duo, gleo, are Berlin based Irish musicians Cathal Berkeley and Ben Higgins. Forming in 2023, the duo have been honing their sound and steadily gaining notoriety in the city's DIY and community scene.

Touching on many elements of experimental sounds, the duo's productions and performances feature manipulated samples and raw field recordings and tape loops. With an emphasis on live improvisation, a gleo performance feels intimate and heartfelt.
