Roo Panes is passionate about music. Since the release of his debut album "Little Giant" in 2014, he has become something like the best-looking flagship folk singer in the British Isles. His guitar technique and lyrics have made him a success with his fans. He takes classical music, structure and harmonies as his model. This shapes his special sound. Instead of going into a fully equipped studio, he prefers to hang his microphones in a wooden hut or in his bedroom. That creates atmosphere, that has charm.
Roo Panes once told 030 magazine: "I am not a performer. My performances are therefore unusual, but I try more to foreground my thoughts on universal themes rather than performance - and thus help others or make them think." That doesn't detract from the impact.
