Workshop Postcards

Type becomes form and material. Letters are cut, constructed, or written and made tangible as design elements.

This workshop explores typography as a visual and tactile design medium. Participants compare handwriting and printed letters and explore how letters can be cut, layered, or built from paper.

Short texts, single words, or small statements serve as starting points for designing postcards. Using paper cutting, stencils, and handwriting, typographic works are created in which letters are not only read, but experienced as form.
