At “Sunday in the Nikolaiviertel,” families with children ages 3 and up can draw portraits and have their own portraits drawn. Participation is free!
How do people see one another? And how does that perspective change? In this workshop, adults and children draw each other in short, playful exercises. In rapid succession with changing partners, many portraits are created. Participants collect these in a small book that they can take home. This highlights how differently a face can be perceived: through the eyes of a child, a parent, or a stranger.
Inspired by historical portraits, spontaneous drawings emerge that focus less on likeness and more on observation and connection. A small portion of popcorn is provided for each portrait.
- Note: Continuous from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. No prior experience or registration required. Just drop by and join in!
- Meeting point: Children’s Salon (ground floor)
