The French Cathedral. Built in 1780 by Frederick II, only 243 years later - as planned from the beginning - the first poetry slam finally takes place here. Even the King of Prussia was known to be an enthusiastic man of letters, much to his chagrin, the modern poets' contest was not invented until well after his death, mainly because in 1780 nothing, really nothing at all, was modern.

In cooperation with the "Hugo & Notte" restaurant, the moderator and slam poet Samson invites you to an upscale cuisine of stage poetry to breathe a little poetry into the venerable walls. To start the evening off right, all guests with tickets to the Slam will receive a 10% discount on a pre-event dinner.
