16th Summer-Family-Theatre

Red pigtails, freckles - everyone knows Pippi Longstocking, and everyone knows that she can do without strict authorities and senseless order in her life. After all, her motto is: "I'll make the world as I like it!"

That's why such opposites as land-grabbing thieves and righteous policemen are effortlessly put in their place, even the morally strict Mrs. Prysselius! Together with Thomas and Annika, Pippi experiences what property seekers find. Do wishing stars actually grant wishes? Or do spunks do that? And is a coffee party suitable to prove good education?

When a pirate's sea voyage finally comes up, Pippi has to decide: will she stay with her new friends or will she set sail with her dad? - And Pippi shows everyone "(...) that you can have power without abusing it." (Astrid Lindgren).

The original on a real horse returns to the open-air stage at the Spandau Citadel from June 12 in a new adaptation by Andreas Schmidt!

Pippi Longstocking ...how it all began
