The four friends, Sascha on drums, Jan on bass and guitarists Philipp and Tobias, shook up the scene in Frankfurt in the 1990s and 2000s. They played in various bands, toured Europe and the USA, were mods, punks, hardcore kids. And they never lost their connection and their love for music.
That's why they got back together after their breakup to rehearse, write songs and experience that band feeling again.

THE PILL
But something essential was missing: a singer. They wanted to play shows again and show everyone what they had created. So they went looking and found Sam.
Sam, this mystical punk rock fairy from some parallel universe. Sam can sing, scream, penetrate and provides the lyrics that underpin it all.
Their joint debut album "Hollywood Smile" will be released in April 2024, and The Pill will also be going on tour and coming to Berlin.
