Who Owns the World?
Social injustice, unequal opportunities in the education system, and stories of decline: Class society never went away. For the upcoming season at HAU Hebbel am Ufer, we will explore our interest in why the today much discussed concept of class is not just about individual matters of social origin – it’s about the distribution of property in society as a whole.
Theatre productions, performances, and discursive events will take a look at labour and production relations, discuss distribution battles and strike movements in the face of increasingly precarious working conditions, and deal with struggles for the socialisation of public goods.
