How do we find innovative solutions to the pressing problems of our time? At the "Human Centered Design" open lab evening, you will get to know the approach of human-centered design in fast-forward. In small groups, you will try out methods to systematically identify the needs and challenges of users and discover sustainable, meaningful solutions step by step.

Human Centered Design can be applied in many ways. It can be used in everyday work to understand the perspective of your users and stakeholders, for example in the sustainable design of manufacturing processes.

In terms of content, we will deal with the topic of democracy. The idea of democracy is more than 2000 years old. A lot has changed since then. Today, social media and globalization are changing the way we live together. And in the future? In this workshop, we will look at empathy and democracy and explore the question of how we want to be involved in the future. Discover with us how democracy can continue!

The event is part of the workshop series "Learning to shape futures", which takes place once a month as part of the Open Lab evening. In a total of four modules, you will get to know well-founded methods of shaping the future, which you can put together to create your own individual future method kit.

WHAT IS AN OPEN LAB EVENING?

The lab gets creative every Thursday. You will get to know methods such as design thinking or future storytelling, can try out 3D printers and laser cutters and take a look behind the scenes of the lab projects. There's something new every week.
