Futures Storytelling

With the method of futures storytelling, we can break down complex content and make innovations tangible. In this way you can experience possible futures together in a very visual way and discuss them with one another.

Storytelling can be used wherever facts need to be communicated in an understandable and emotionally accessible manner, be it in strategy development or in discussions in university seminars.

In terms of content, we will deal with the topic of democracy. The idea of democracy is more than 2000 years old. A lot has changed since then. Today, social media and globalization are changing the way we live together. And in the future? In the workshop we will explore the question of how positive images of the future can be created beyond clichés and stereotypes. Discover with us how democracy can continue!

The event is part of the “Learning to shape futures” workshop series, which takes place once a month as part of the Open Lab evening. In a total of four modules, you will get to know well-founded methods of shaping the future, which you can put together to create your own individual future method kit

What is an Open Lab evening
Have you always wondered what design thinking is, how a 3D printer works and how a robot is programmed? And what exactly does all this have to do with the future? Then you've come to the right place in the Futurium Lab! Every Thursday we invite you to get to know methods and tools for shaping the future together with our creators and to develop new ideas for the future in workshops.

Workshop management
The Berlin Ideas Lab is a laboratory for transformational design. The team supports organizations in the design process of sustainable product and service innovations as well as desirable images of the future using methods of future research, design thinking and visual storytelling.
